 Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance Studies Minor

Pyramids! Vikings! Gladiators! Explore the wonders of the pre-modern world! This interdisciplinary minor is focused on material, intellectual, sociopolitical, literary, and linguistic approaches to the Ancient, Medieval, and Renaissance periods. You’ll learn current theories and methods for working with a range of source materials and objects, from archaeological finds and architecture to historical documents and poetry. Film. The Film Minor

Are you interested in cinema? Documentaries? Experimental film? Then you should consider a minor in Film. This interdisciplinary minor covers both film studies and filmmaking in all genres of experimental, narrative, and documentary film. It is an appropriate complement to either a major or minor in World Languages. You will be able to take courses through the Departments of Art and Art History, Theatre, English, Music, History, and World Languages and Literature. Individually Designed Major/Minor

Students with specific career goals or with unique individual objectives may propose majors and minors designed to meet their individual academic needs. The Individually Designed Major/Minor (IDM) is designed to assist the student who would like a major or minor for which there is no established curriculum.
