  • SPA 280/NUR 380 - Intermediate Spanish for Health Professionals
  • SPA 304 - Phonetics and Phonology (required)
  • SPA 313 - Advanced Business Spanish
  • SPA 314 - Applied Spanish Translation and Interpretation
  • SPA 320 - Hispanic Cultures through Culinary Art
  • SPA 380/NUR 481 - Advanced Spanish for Health Professionals
  • FLL 333 - Foreign Language Internship/Service-Learning (3 credits) (required)
  • SPA 390/490 - Study Abroad (valid only if directly related to SSP)
  • SPA 404 - Medicine and Literature in the Spanish-speaking World
  • SPA 450 - Pop Culture in Translation
  • SPA 460 - Globalization in the Hispanic World
  • SPA 580 - (Service Learning) Applied Spanish and Medical Interpreting
  • SPA 485 - (Service Learning) Spanish for Leadership in the Workplace

Full course descriptions are available in the UAB Undergraduate Catalog and the SSPC Student Manual. Please note that study abroad courses may only be approved if they are directly related to SSP. Regular Study Abroad programs or courses will not count towards the SSPC program.
