Dr. Dione Moultrie King was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Council on Racial, Ethnic, and Cultural Diversity.

Social Work Career Day

Students interested in the field of social work are encouraged to attend Social Work Career Day.

The Student Social Work Organization sponsored a documentary about the impact of clean water on villages in Kenya.

Faculty members of the Department of Social Work participated in the Society for Social Work (SSWR) and Research conference in Washington, D.C.

Shelbi White was present at the UAB Student Involvement Fair to showcase the Student Social Work Organization, recruit new members, and answer any questions from students about the organization.

Student Social Work Organization (SSWO) had a successful goods drive for community organizations in Birmingham. These goods will help our fellow community members who are in need.
