An Impeccable Person

Risk Takers

Comic Genius

UAB English alum Jason Aaron now stands as one of the leading lights of the Marvel Universe—a comics writer whose storylines for heroes such as the X-Men and Thor have generated critical acclaim and buzz.
Quinn Lewis graduated the UAB Department of English Creative Writing Program in 2010 and is now working on her MFA in Poetry at the University of Oregon. She recently talked about her experiences with graduate student Halley Cotton.

The UAB Writers' Series is an annual offering of the Creative Writing program. Nationally recognized authors are invited to UAB to give readings and participate in Q-and-A sessions. Readings are free and open to the public.
