This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Marching Blazers. On September 17, 1994, the 135-member UAB Marching Blazers performed at their first home football game under the direction of Dr. Clifford “Ski” Winter. Since that time, the UAB Bands have continued to grow and excel. The current edition of the Marching Blazers will celebrate by featuring music from the 1994 season at this year’s Homecoming game on October 19th, 2019 with the UAB Band Alumni.
