Advanced technology and expert support is available for a broad suite of genetic/genomic analyses to enable variant discovery, copy number analyses and exploration of nucleic acid modification. A team of analysts, including bioinformaticians and biostatisticians to assist in the development of raw data into research findings, is complemented by a group of investigators knowledgeable about model systems that will best support secondary functional analyses.

This laboratory is able to perform standard fluorescent and Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), high and low throughput custom genotyping from 1 SNP to more than 5 million SNPs, whole genome linkage and association studies, targeted and whole genome gene expression, and targeted and whole genome assays.  Learn more >

HudsonAlpha Institute for Biotechnology is a non-profit, academic research institute dedicated to basic and applied research in genomics and genetics and outfitted to promote extensive collaboration. Both gene expression and sequencing technologies are extensively studied at the institute, and the faculty have been directly involved in large-scale projects such as The Human Genome Project, The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) and the Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) Project.  Learn more >

The H2M Systems core provides a variety of educational and consulting forums designed to facilitate the reciprocal exchange of scientific information between the investigator and core personnel. Through this core, investigators learn about a wide variety of options available to create and study model organisms, and receive input from experts currently using different genetic models. The core also serves as an advocate for investigators as core personnel become educated on the experimental needs of the investigator.

CCTS Informatics serves as the resource center for efforts that provide the infrastructure to collect structured clinical data at the point of care; export it to a data warehouse that also contains genomic and other biological information; and use the data for clinical, translational and outcomes research from bench to bedside and back.  Learn more >
