UAB School of Dentistry to host annual commencement ceremony June 3, 2023
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Dentistry will celebrate the graduating class of 2023 in a traditional commencement ceremony on Saturday, June 3. The ceremony will begin at 12:00 p.m. Details are TBA.
“Our school is built upon a longstanding tradition of educational and clinical excellence, service, and scholarly achievements and this year’s class is no exception,” said Russell S. Taichman, dean. “The ceremony will mark a special time and we are excited to be able to celebrate their accomplishments together.”
Among a program that includes an annual Lister Hill Lecture commencement address and remarks from alumni and state dental leadership, the school will recognize the outstanding academic efforts, leadership, and service of more than 40 student award winners during the ceremony.
