The department actively participates in the DMD, or dental undergraduate, curriculum with teaching, service, and patient care experiences. DMD involvement includes:
- Evidence-Based Dentistry
- Cultural Competency
- Dental Ethics
- A Preclinical Endodontic laboratory where Endodontic techniques using extracted natural teeth provide students with necessary background to begin patient care
- Third and fourth year lecture courses in Endodontics
- The final two years of the DMD curriculum include a variety of exercises and patient care experiences to allow every graduating dental student to achieve a level of proficiency with uncomplicated Endodontic cases.
