I have recently published in ASCA's School Counselor, the ASAHPERD Journal, and have submitted a proposal to the American Counseling Association for published a third edited book entitled, "Critical Incidents in School Counseling." I am currently PI of one national study and co-PI of two local studies.
I am involved in the CEP's Study Away program, "A Counselor's View of Italy," and am involved in international activities; I just rotated off the Chi Sigma Iota national board as its treasurer; I just completed my rotation (2010 - 13) as Editor of the Alabama Counseling Association Journal; I am the faculty advisor for Zeta Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota.
I have started a running initiative within the CEP, inviting students and faculty to run one 5K road race per month; I enjoy great food, traveling, and most anything outdoors. I'm very comfortable traveling in groups but can travel alone just as easy.
