Biomedical Engineering (BME) Lab Rotation Placement Form

BME 673/773: Lab Rotation

Laboratory rotations expose incoming graduate students to a range of research environments and help them to identify a research mentor. The BME Lab Rotation course is required for PhD students and optional for MSBME students. Students should complete two or three rotations. Each rotation period should be at least 4 weeks and the student should spend at least 10 hours per week in the lab. The exact duration of the rotation and the student’s time commitment should be mutually agreed upon by the student and mentor at the start of the rotation. At the conclusion of each rotation, the rotation mentor will submit an evaluation form.
