ASHRAE, founded in 1894, formerly known as the American Society for Heating, Refrigerating and Air conditioning Engineers (now, just ASHRAE) is an International professional society focused on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, refrigeration and sustainability within the building technology industry.

Founded in 1880 as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, today's ASME promotes the art, science & practice of mechanical & multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe.

Pi Tau Sigma
Pi Tau Sigma is the International Mechanical Engineering Honor Society. Members are chosen on a basis of sound engineering ability, scholarship (upper 35%), personality, and probable future success in their chosen field of Mechanical Engineering.

Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE)
SAE International is a global association of more than 128,000 engineers and related technical experts in the aerospace, automotive and commercial-vehicle industries. SAE International's core competencies are life-long learning and voluntary consensus standards development. SAE International's charitable arm is the SAE Foundation, which supports many programs, including A World In Motion® and the Collegiate Design Series.
