Dr. Sejuty Haque specializes in the areas of Dental Materials and Biomaterials Science. Her research area includes improvement of physical and mechanical properties of Dental Resin. Additionally, she also undertakes research work on Oral Cancer, Preventive and Primary Oral Health Care of elementary school going and slum children in Bangladesh. Dr. Haque published scientific papers in Dental Materials Journal, Hokkaido Journal of Dental Science, American Journal of Pathology, Imaging Science in Dentistry and different local journal in Bangladesh. At present she also collaborates different research project with UAB Dental School.

In addition to her research expertise, she had extensive administrative experience; she was the member of Governing Body of Dental School in Bangladesh, Course and Curriculum maker of undergraduate programs. As well as she held position of Departmental Chair, Undergraduate Course Coordinator, Question Moderator and Examiner of both graduate and undergraduate programs of Bangladesh Dental School. Dr. Haque has taught courses on characterization of Dental Materials, Metals, Resins, Ceramics, Direct and Indirect Restorative Materials and Implant Materials.

Dr. Haque has been awarded prestigious scholarship from “College Woman’s Association of Japan (CWAJ)” in 2000 for her PhD course in Japan. She was also active member and engaged in different social activities of Inner Wheel Club of Bangladesh (2012-2016) and was involved as volunteer in JICA Grass Root Project of Oral Health Care in Bangladesh (2008-2011).
