At UAB, we have a number of online systems that require that you have a username and a password. We call your username your BlazerID. You will need to register for a BlazerID as soon as possible.

You can also set up your email account at the site linked above. UAB uses Microsoft Exchange for its messaging and collaboration, including email, calendar, contact and task management functions. To setup a new email account, please go to “Get a UAB E-mail Account” after you have gotten your BlazerID.

For your voicemail account, please go to “HR & Employee Orientation” in the menu bar to the right and click on “UAB Human Resources for New Hires,” and then “Voicemail Set-Up.”
