PURPOSE

May 2019- Our travel award is undergoing some changes at the moment. Please be patient with us as we work with administrators to make the award more functional for the GBS students and faculty. We will send out an announcement with all changes in the near future

An award of up to $400.00 is available for eligible graduate students who are attending an extracurricular academic/professional conference. The award is offered as a supplemental reimbursement to cover expenses related to transportation, lodging, poster printing, andregistration. These awards are not meant to reimburse for required UAB credit generating activities or for activities that are not primarily professional in purpose.

To apply:

1) Log into UAB Engage website (http://www.uab.edu/students/involvement/engage)

2) Verify that you are or become a member of GBSO 

3) Complete the “GBS Travel Grant Application-Summer 2019” which can be found in the Forms section of Engage
