After reviewing the information and FAQs on our website, you can always reach IFSIS staff at ifsis@uab.edu and via two drop-in "Office Hours" sessions on Zoom each week.

  • Every Tuesday from 3-5 PM, IFSIS staff are on Zoom to discuss permanent residence sponsorship/administrator questions.
  • Every Friday from 1-3 PM, IFSIS staff are on Zoom to discuss H-1B and other non-permanent residence matters.

Links to both Zoom Office Hours sessions are available in the weekly e-newsletter IFSIS sends to all international employees and administrators every Monday morning. If you do not receive the e-newsletter, please email ifsis@uab.edu to be added to the distribution list.

"Molly initially joined ISSS as a J-1 Immigration Advisor supporting UAB's international research scholars and medical residents/fellows. In 2022, she took on the role of ARC Waiver Coordinator and also serves as Permanent Residence Coordinator for IFSIS, responsible for collecting and reviewing applications for waiver of the two-year home residence requirement sponsored by the Appalachian Regional Commission for entities across the state of Alabama. Molly holds a master's degree in political science with a concentration in international relations from the University of Memphis in 2020. During her studies, she was an active member of the graduate student association and helped many international students navigate the labyrinth of US immigration. She studied abroad in both Italy and Spain. In her free time, she likes to go hiking with her dog, Max, and eat all the chips and salsa she can get her hands on.
