Emergency Travel Outside the U.S.
In the event that you need to make an emergency trip outside of the U.S. on a weekend, holiday or evening be sure to take your passport and immigration documentation with you. Contact one of the staff listed above as soon as possible either by phone or email and further instructions will be provided to assist you with your reentry into the U.S. Please do not attempt to reenter the U.S. on the Visa Waiver Program or tourist visa, or without properly authorized immigration documents.On-Campus Emergencies

To Report an Incident
If you are a student who has experienced any type of intimidation, harassment, discrimination, or hateful speech committed by an individual employed by or enrolled as a student at UAB, report the incident immediately to Debbie Morgette in the Office of Student Rights, Advocacy and Conduct at 205-975-4412 or the Student Health & Wellness Center Counseling Services at 205-934-5816 [1714 9th Avenue South]. Students can also file an anonymous report.If you are a UAB employee (faculty or staff) who has experienced any type of intimidation, harassment, discrimination, or hateful speech committed by an individual employed by or enrolled as a student at UAB, report the incident to your immediate supervisor, who can contact Human Resources. If you are uncomfortable talking to your immediate supervisor, you can either file an anonymous complaint or call 1-866-362-9476. Faculty are also encouraged to contact Michelle Fanucchi, the Faculty Ombuds. Employees can contact the Employee Assistance and Counseling Center at 205-934-2281 [2112 11th Avenue South].
