UAB’s Land of the Green and Gold Button Design Competition

Make your mark on UAB Homecoming by designing the official Homecoming button for this year!

  1. Only current UAB students can participate.
  2. Designs must incorporate the 2020 theme “Land of the Green and Gold”.
  3. Designs must be submitted between August 14th - August 28th.
  4. Designs must have “UAB” incorporated somewhere on the design.
  5. All designs must be submitted in PDF, Jpeg, or PNG format.
  6. Designs must be able to fit on a 3” round button.
  7. Students may submit more than one design but must submit a separate form for each design.
  8. All designs are subject to approval by the Student Affairs Marketing & Communications Office before being approved for Top 3 voting.
  9. The Blazer Spirit Council will select the top 3 designs for the student body vote. Voting will open at 8am on September 3rd and end at 8:00 am on September 8th. The winner will be announced on September 8th by 5:00 pm.

  • Originality
  • Creativity
  • Incorporation of Theme
  • Overall Design Appearance
