Campus KRONOS Timekeeping System

As part of its efforts to comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act, UAB has implemented the Campus KRONOS Timekeeping System for university-wide recordkeeping of time and attendance, vacation and sick days for all non-exempt employees.

    • Windows minimum hardware specifications are sufficient
    • 100mb free space
    • Adobe Flash 15+
    • Web browsers Chrome, Firefox or IE11
    OSX with the following minimum requirements:
    • OSX 10.9 or 10.10 (10.11 is not referenced in their documentation)
    • 100mb free space
    • Adobe Flash 15+
    • Web browser Safari

    Java 1.8 is needed for certain administrative functions in KRONOS, usually handled by UAB Human Resources.

    Time Editor Training & Instruction
    • Campus Kronos Online Training: A collection of online training and quick reference guides to assist Campus Kronos Time Editors with responsibilities related to editing/correcting nonexempt employees' Campus Kronos timecards.
    • Oracle Access Control Form: Assign, update or terminate Org Time Editor Access in the Campus Kronos system.

    Campus KRONOS staff is available to assist non-exempt employees with completing tasks in the Campus KRONOS system during open clinic hours, Thursdays from 2-3:30 p.m. in AB B60.
