Job Description Builder is an electronic tool used by UAB Compensation to write and store job descriptions. The tool is interactive and allows users to search job descriptions by multiple parameters, and save and/or print descriptions in PDF format.

What is a Job Description?

A job description is a summary of the most important features of a job — it should describe and focus on the job itself and not on any specific individual who might fill the job. Job descriptions have a number of uses including:
