Brittany Cockrum is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC). She received a Master of Arts (MA) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor of Science in History (BS) from the University of North Alabama. She is a member of the Alabama Counseling Association (ALCA).

She works with individuals of all ages as well as families on topics such as anxiety, grief, depression, goal-setting, stress-management, parenting, and behavioral issues in children and adolescents. She employs an eclectic counseling style that combines solution focused techniques with cognitive behavioral and person-focused techniques to help individuals address the issues that they are experiencing. Before coming to UAB, Brittany worked with Pesek Counseling Services, Noah’s Ark Child and Family Treatment Center, and Garrett Counseling and Consulting. Brittany’s pronouns are she/her/hers.
