The UAB Employee Assistance and Counseling Center offers individual, couples and family counseling to help employees and their immediate household members resolve work-related and personal problems. UAB, UAB Medicine and VIVA Health employees are eligible for up to 15 free counseling sessions per year. Traditional Counseling Services
The UAB Employee Assistance & Counseling Center staff includes counselors specializing in marriage and family counseling, play therapy, group counseling, alcohol and drug abuse aftercare, EMDR, critical incident stress management, aging and caregiver issues, employee assistance, career counseling, art therapy and more.
