Trung is a junior in the Science and Technology Honors Program studying molecular biology with minors in french and chemistry. He conducts type two diabetes research on a molecular level through the Bhatnagar Lab by working to identify novel proteins that affect the secretion of insulin from pancreatic beta cells. After graduating, he plan to pursue a career as a physician scientist in the field of diabetes. Apart from scholarly stuff, Trung is an avid boxer and hiker who enjoys watching Sci-Show and TedEd videos before bed.
