Applicants selected for an invitation to interview will be directly contacted by the program coordinator to arrange scheduling of the interview date.  The program participates in the NRMP Match, so all applicants are required to register with the NRMP Match Program, www.nrmp.org.

Applicants should use the The Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) to apply to the pain fellowship. We are in the December cycle, and applications will be accepted beginning December 1st. By that date application requirements will be available from ERAS.

The letters of recommendation (total three) should include the following:

  • One letter preferably from the Director of Pain Services
  • One letter from your residency director at your training institution
  • One additional letter of recommendation


Selected candidates will interview with the fellowship directors and the pain management faculty. Final selection is made by the Department of Anesthesiology Pain Education Committee.
