Dr. Robinett received his MD from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine at Boston Medical Center, before joining the faculty of that university. Dr. Robinett returned to the UAB Department of Emergency Medicine in 2010. Since that time, he has served as the Assistant Director of our residency program, and currently serves as the Medical Director for both the American Heart Association Training Center at UAB, and Lifeguard Ambulance Services, Inc. Additionally, Dr. Robinett works in Medical Control for the Alabama Poison Control Center, and UAB's Critical Care Transport. He is a member of our department's Clinical Trials Team, which supervises and coordinates the enrollment of ED patients into research studies.
