Specific Aims Workshops help researchers develop and hone the specific aims page or grant responses for pending HIV/STD grant applications or resubmissions. Half-day workshops have been held twice a year in the Spring and Fall. These workshops are open to all CFAR investigators, working in any area related to HIV.

9:00 – 9:10 Welcome/coffee
9:10 – 11:00 Presentations by participants of their grant concept and initial specific aims
11:00 – 12:00 One-on-one consultations with facilitators
12:00 – 12:30 Lunch/wrap-up



OneonOnecrop1Facilitators have an active role in shaping and strengthening the participants' feedback, through the provision of:
          1) Participating in the Q&A sessions after participants' presentations
          2) Meeting one-on-one with participants in consultations sessions and providing feedback in an evaluation form
