computer book minThe purpose of this workshop is to work with established investigators to develop and hone the specific aims page of your upcoming grant application. The format of the workshop is designed to communicate and discuss with a non-specialized group of experienced scientists the individual research questions proposed. You will have one-on-one consultations with an assigned facilitator (based on research expertise) to help amend your aims.

If you are interested in participating in this workshop fill out an application form.

Once registered for the workshop, please download these resources for the workshop:

OneonOnecrop1The CFAR Specific Aims Workshop isn't successful without the facilitators who participate. The facilitators have an active role in shaping and strengthening the participants' specific aims page. Facilitators serve two roles:
          1) Participating in the Q&A sessions after participants presentations
          2) Meeting one-on-one with participants in consultations sessions and providing feedback in an evaluation form

The Workshop Leadership will pair you with a participant you can best serve based on research experience and expertise.

If you are interested in serving as a facilitator, please contact Samantha Whitfield (swhitfield@uab.edu).

Once you have agreed to serve as a facilitator for the workshop, please download:
