Last Friday, The Tinsley Harrison Internal Medicine Residency Program became the new home for 39 smart, capable interns. We are so proud to have them come train here at UAB and experience the "excellence without ego" that makes our program exceptional.

The group is diverse in its makeup, with 24 Males and 15 Females. Two are from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine, and 14 are AOA Honor Medical Society members.

We welcome these new trainees from far and wide, with 8 graduates from our own UAB School of Medicine (#GoBlazers) and others from 21 schools across the country. One will pursue the ABIM Research Pathway.

The Department looks forward to getting to know each of these brilliant new physicians!
