Denise Goska - May 2013 DOM Employee of the Month

Denise Goska has been selected as the recipient of the Department of Medicine, Employee of the Month award for May 2013.   Keith Marks congratulated Goska-May 2013Denise today for receiving this honor.  Denise is a Program Administrator II in the Division of Gerontology, Geriatrics, and Palliative Care.   

Denise’s responsibilities include activities in the Division, as well as the Comprehensive Center for Healthy Aging, the Southeast Center of Excellence in Geriatric Medicine, the VA-based GRECC, the Deep South Resource Center for Minority Aging Research, and expanding patient care programs in Geriatrics and Palliative Care.   She is known across campus as being efficient, reliable, effective, and someone who you can count on to do the job correctly and in a timely manner.  Denise is helpful to everyone, treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Peggy has been selected as May's Department of Medicine Employee of the Month! Dr. Anthony DiStasiAntonio Di Stasi, MD

Dr. Di Stasi is Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cell Therapy Program Unit, where he performs both clinical and translational research activities. His primary research focus involves the pre-clinical validation of adoptive T cell immunotherapy strategies for hematologic malignancies.
