Redmond participated in the NIH Early Career Reviewer

Dr. Nicole Redmond, MD, PhD, MPH participated in the Early Career Reviewer (ECR) program at the Center for Scientific Review (CSR), NIH.
She served as a reviewer for the Health Disparities and Equity Promotion (HDEP) Study Section meeting June 12-13, 2014 in Chicago, IL.

The ECR program is designed to benefit faculty who are actively involved in biomedical-behavioral research but have not yet had experience as a reviewer of grant applications.  Early Career Reviewers are given a limited workload to facilitate learning in a low stress environment.

Dr. Redmond gained enormous insight on the grant review process that she feels will enhance her competitiveness for her own future grant applications.   She highly encourages eligible faculty to apply to the program, read more on how to become an Early Career Reviewer.
