The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology offers a comprehensive fellowship, under the direction of Dr. Chad Burski.
The overall goal of the Gastroenterology and Hepatology fellowship program is to provide in depth training and education related to the treatment of all digestive and liver related diseases. Graduating fellows will meet the requirements to obtain sub-specialty certification in Gastroenterology as outlined by the American Board of Internal Medicine. The fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Alabama is a three year program and is available to all physicians who have completed residency training in internal medicine.
