NOTE for 2020 Applicants to the Division of Nephrology Clinical Fellowship Program

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the UAB Nephrology Fellowship is planning for remote interviews of applicants this year. UAB Nephrology wants to reassure all applicants interested in our Fellowship program this year that we understand the hardships faced by applicants during COVID as they prepare for interviews: research projects that were abandoned or letters of recommendation that weren't obtained due to missed opportunities or cancelled electives. We understand that the quality of the application may be diminished by COVID, but we will use a balanced and open-minded approach when assessing all applications.
