Practicing gratitude in November

Written by

This November, I am reflecting on gratitude. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve Heersink School of Medicine in a leadership capacity. The work we do here every day is vitally important for our patients, their families, and our communities.

As we approach the holiday season, I look forward to spending time with family. For Thanksgiving, my wife, children, and I are traveling to Florida to see my 94-year-old mother-in-law. We will visit with extended family, eat food, and enjoy being together. I am excited to watch college football and enjoy some time off.

I hope all of you will consider a bit of rest and relaxation, spend time with those you love, and enjoy your favorite hobbies.

I recorded a quick video to tell each of you how thankful I am for your service.
