Charles Buchanan is managing editor of UAB Medicine—the magazine for alumni and friends of the School of Medicine—and assistant editor of UAB Magazine. He has worked in advertising and periodicals for 20 years, creating everything from print articles to TV commercials to Web sites along the way. A published author and artist, Buchanan joined UAB in 1996.
