Physicians: Vote for UAB in the U.S. News & World Report “Best Hospitals” survey

Written by
Voting is now going for the annual "Best Hospitals" survey conducted by U.S. News & World Report.

UAB Hospital has consistently been recognized as one of the nation's top hospitals, and this year, six UAB medical specialties were among the nation's top 50, with five classified as high-performing. The rankings are based on two categories: performance and reputation.

Voting in the 2016 Best Hospitals survey is done in two ways - email and mail. The survey method depends on whether or not you are a member of Doximity, an online physician networking website.
  • Physicians who are registered and verified members of Doximity: All physicians who are registered and verified members of Doximity AND board certified in one of the 16 surveyed specialties will be invited by email to participate in early 2016. Depending on the accuracy of your profile data, the process could take several days to verify, so it's advised to start the registration process as soon as possible. Visit Doximity.com, search using your name, and click on the link to "Claim your profile" to begin the process.
  •  A randomly selected sample of physicians who are not registered members of Doximity will be mailed a paper ballot survey in early 2016.
The voting period is early January 2016 through the end of March. If you've registered, watch for an email soon inviting you to participate in the survey. For more information on the U.S. News Best Hospitals survey and methodology, click here.
