Written by

The Mary Heersink Institute for Global Health is excited to announce the first cohort of Pilot Project grantees.

The goal of the institute’s Pilot Project is to foster collaboration between investigators at UAB and international partners as they work to address pressing global health challenges.

Pilot funding is provided to projects that will generate preliminary data for larger future projects, support promising investigators, junior investigators, and trainees, and/or build capacity to improve outcomes over the long term. Successful applicants were notified on Feb. 28.

Congratulations to the Principal Investigators and teams selected in 2022.
