Biography

Dr. Jon Quade joined the faculty of the UAB Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in August of 2016 after completing his Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship with the Orthopaedic Trauma Service in Tampa, FL. He attended the Medical College of Wisconsin for Medical School and Orthopaedic Surgery Residency.

His clinical interests include total care of the polytraumatized patient, working in a team-based approach to collaborate and formulate treatment plans for the individual patient. In treating these patients a broad skill set is used to tailor treatment appropriately, utilizing the most advanced techniques including minimally invasive approaches and percutaneous techniques for reduction and fixation, while also appreciating the limits of these techniques to provide individualized care to his patients. His patient care team includes fellows, residents, nurse practitioners and nurse first assistants who are intimately involved in patient care.
