Biography

Dr. Sakthi Rajaram Manoharan earned his medical degree from the Government Medical College, Madurai, India in 2006. His Orthopedic Surgery residency was completed at one of the highest ranked programs in India at PGI, Chandigarh. He graduated top of his class. He had further training as a Registrar/Senior Resident at the same Institution.

He completed further spine and orthopedic fellowship training for four years at centers of excellence in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the US. He is an active researcher and well published in his area of specialty. He is a member of multiple professional societies in spine and orthopedics including AAOS, NASS, and AO spine. He has extensive experience in teaching medical students, residents and medical staff during his multiple years of fellowship training. He is an editorial board member/reviewer for more than 10 reputed journals in Spine/Orthopedics including European Spine J, CORR and BJJ. His clinical research work has been presented internationally in multiple conferences.

His clinical practice is primarily dedicated to all aspects of spinal disorders and general trauma. He also offers minimally invasive spine surgery for selected spinal conditions. Besides training and teaching medical students and orthopedic residents, he also serves as a mentor for the spine fellowship program.
