The Spring Scramble 5K is one of several community outreach programs organized by the UAB Pediatrics Residency Program through our Community, Outreach and Advocacy Program (Coat of Arms). The race in 2019 marks our 13th year and we are thankful for the support of the local running community, Children's of Alabama, and our sponsors for making our event a success!

In addition to promoting healthy choices among our community's youth, our goal is to raise funds to directly support the health and well-being of the children in our community.

The race will be timed by The Time is Right with the TrakShak.

Following the race enjoy live music by the Bouncebacks, Eugene's Hot Chicken and Steel City Pops food trucks, and door prizes!
