A native of New Jersey, Ms. Lenker has her BSW from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania and her MSW at The University of Alabama. She is a 1989 graduate of the UAB PPC, and worked for Children’s of Alabama for several years, where she helped develop the Home Ventilator Program. Ms. Lenker’s current clinical responsibilities include the Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia program and general pulmonary patients. In addition to being a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Ms. Lenker is also a Certified Case Manager (CCM). She provides frequent technical assistance and continuing education to MCH partners. Ms. Lenker is the PPC Co-Director and oversees the day-to-day function of the program.
