The fellowship program accepts two new fellows each year. To be eligible for the Pediatric Hematology/Oncology training program the resident must complete three years of an ACGME accredited Pediatric Residency program leading to eligibility for certification by the American Board of Pediatrics.

Applicants will be solicited and accepted in the fall of each year through the ERAS. The program director and the faculty will review applications and those applications deemed superior would be asked to come for an interview between January and April of each year. After interviews are completed the faculty meets to discuss all applicants and the decision is based on the opinion of the faculty. The program participates in the National Resident Matching Program for Pediatric Hematology/Oncology fellows.
