Dr. Liang obtained his undergraduate and MD degrees from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed his Pediatric Residency training at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN, where he also served as Pediatric Chief Resident. He completed his Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship training at the University of Washington, Seattle Children’s Hospital, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center joint program in Seattle, WA. While completing his pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship, Dr. Liang also obtained a Master of Science in Biomedical and Health Informatics and completed a National Library of Medicine Post-Doctoral Fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle, WA. Dr. Liang is board certified in Pediatrics and board eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. His research focuses on clinical informatics, clinical decision support, and precision medicine, and his clinical interests include solid tumors, precision oncology, and blood and marrow transplantation.
