About Me: I grew up locally in Hoover, AL. After moving around the southeast for my training, my family & I settled back in our hometown for pulmonary fellowship. My husband, daughter & I are excited to enjoy Birmingham’s restaurants, parks, sporting events & top golf for another year while staying here to complete my sleep medicine fellowship. My research and QI interests encompass newborn screening for cystic fibrosis, CFTR-related metabolic syndrome, asthma, bronchopulmonary dysplasia, technology-dependence, tracheostomy-dependence, sleep disorders, patient/family/staff education, preventative medicine and program education & development.

Nathaniel Rodriguez, M.D.

Residency: Augusta University/University of Georgia Medical Partnership, Athens, Ga

About Me: I am originally from North Pole, Alaska and moved to the south for school/residency and have loved it. My professional interest include: sleep disorder and how they affect systemic disease, and pulmonary/critical care.
