Biography

Badari Birur, MD is a board certified psychiatrist, who completed residency in Psychiatry at the prestigious National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS), India. He then moved to US and completed general psychiatry residency training at East Tennessee State University, Johnson City. He currently serves as faculty in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurobiology at University of Alabama (UAB), Birmingham, where he is primarily involved in providing clinical care to inpatients and serves as a sub-investigator in various clinical trials at UAB mood disorders program.
