Jeong Mi Park, M.D., FSBI

Jeong Mi Park, M.D. completed her medical education at the Seoul National University College of Medicine. After completing her residency and fellowship training in Diagnostic Radiology at Seoul National University Hospital and her fellowship at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, she joined the faculty at the University of Ulsan Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea in 1994. She moved to the United States as an associate professor in Breast Imaging at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2003. She joined the UAB Breast Imaging faculty in 2018.

Dr. Park has served as Director of Breast Imaging from 1996 to 2014, at the University of Ulsan Asan Medical Center and at the University of Iowa. Her academic activity includes over 100 peer-reviewed and non-peer-reviewed publications as well as many scientific presentations and exhibits. Dr. Park enjoys everyday PACS-side teaching for residents and fellows and is also interested in collaborative academic endeavor with trainees. Dr. Park’s interest in research encompasses all aspects of breast imaging, including invasive procedures.
