Biography
Dr. Aaron Hoffman was born in Atlanta, GA and remained in the Southeast for his training and practice. He earned his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, NC. Following his medical degree, Dr. Hoffman completed his General Surgery Residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. His Thoracic Surgery Residency was completed at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2014 after which time he joined Huntsville Cardiothoracic Surgeons/Heart Center, Inc. He worked there for 6 years until moving to Tuscaloosa, AL in May of 2020 to partner with UAB Health System and DCH to provide cardiac and thoracic surgical care to DCH and the Tuscaloosa area.
