Biography

Dr. Romine completed his medical education at the Medical College of Georgia in 2014 before proceeding to the University of Alabama-Birmingham for his general surgical training. Following completion of general surgical training, he completed his sub-specialization training in minimally invasive foregut, complex hernia, and bariatric surgery at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. Dr. Romine is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a member of the American College of Surgery. His clinical interests include health outcomes following weight loss surgery, complex abdominal wall hernias, and benign esophageal disease.
