UAB Homecoming Week is Oct. 2-8, with new Blazer Bingo this year

UAB Football will play MTSU at Protective Stadium on Oct. 8 for Homecoming 2022. New this year is Blazer Bingo night, with all proceeds benefiting student scholarships.

Inside homecomingweek 2022 digitalsignageThe University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Homecoming Week 2022 will be Oct. 2-8, culminating with UAB Football vs. Middle Tennessee State University at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 8, in Protective Stadium.

UAB Athletics, in conjunction with the UAB National Alumni Society, will host the 2022 Homecoming football game. For tickets or for more information, visit uabsports.com.

Homecoming is a celebration of the UAB experience, filled with events and traditions like the Gurney Derby, the Homecoming Parade and more. Homecoming Week at UAB is an amazing opportunity to connect with alumni, students, faculty, staff and fans to share Blazer spirit and pride.

New this year is Blazer Bingo

Grab your lucky dragon statue or your lucky dauber and be part of the National Alumni Society’s first-ever Blazer Bingo night. Join UAB for bingo from 6-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 6. This event is part of Uncork Education — all proceeds raised will directly fund student scholarships. 

Tickets are $25 and include bingo boards, a dauber and food. A cash bar will be available. Buy tickets at alumni.uab.edu. The voice of UAB, David Crane, will be the game’s caller. Door prizes and a photo booth will be featured throughout the night. 

Check in to receive your bingo booklet. Play 10 games with six bingo boards for each game. The final game will be blackout bingo with the winner claiming the grand prize.
