Works by Price at National Association of Composers USA Conference

Three electroacoustic compositions, “WOOSH,” “A Memory of Tomorrow 2.0” and “Spline,” were selected for inclusion in the national conference.

Price_William_sWorks by University of Alabama at Birmingham Assistant Professor of Music William Price, D.M.A., will be presented at the National Association of Composers USA Conference, Oct. 3-5, 2013.

Three electroacoustic compositions, “WOOSH,” “A Memory of Tomorrow 2.0” and “Spline,” were selected for inclusion in the conference. The event will feature works by composers from around the country. The conference will take place at the Howard Center for the Performing Arts on the campus of Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. 

Founded by Henry Hadley in 1933, the National Association of Composers USA is one of the oldest organizations devoted to the promotion and performance of American concert hall music. Price teaches music theory and composition in the UAB Department of Music.
