Harris, heralded as “one of the most important young artists in jazz” by The Los Angeles Times, will perform as part of a free, live-streamed series of concerts presented by UAB’s Alys Stephens Center.
UAB’s Alys Stephens Center will present free concerts by Eric Essix and Tracy Hamlin, DeQn Sue, Red Baraat, Stefon Harris + Blackout and Rollin’ In The Hay. Blues legend Keb’ Mo’ will perform a live-stream concert May 13; tickets are $20 per device.

Arts events in January will also include an AEIVA artist gallery talk, an arts and disabilities discussion, a creative writing workshop, lunch and learn, and more.
ArtPlay will provide festive totes with workshop supplies and a special surprise from Liv Sweet Bakery available for pickup from the ArtPlay porch from 3:30-6 p.m. Dec. 16-17.
