Sample wines and craft beers while supporting student scholarships at the 11th annual Uncork Education event Sunday, Oct. 27, hosted by the University of Alabama at Birmingham National Alumni Society.
This fun, popular wine and craft beer tasting event features live and silent auctions, mystery prizes, and other opportunities, held at the Alumni House. The generosity of those who have attended Uncork Education over the years has allowed the UAB NAS to raise nearly $475,000 to go toward scholarships.
The tasting, along with heavy hors d’oeuvres, and silent auction will begin at 5:30 p.m., with the live auction at 7 p.m. The key unlocking for the stocked bars will be at 7:45 p.m. The silent auction will end at 7:50 p.m.
New in 2019, attendees may limit their time in line and pre-order the popular Mystery Corks ($50), Stocked Bar Keys ($25) and the 2019 Blazer Wine ($30) when registering. Tickets are $60 per person.
