Donate Life Alabama is hosting its first Donor Dash for Life 5K race Saturday, May 9, at 8 a.m. at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Track and Field Complex.
“Legacy of Hope, in partnership with Donate Life Alabama, could not be more excited about the upcoming 5K race,” said Ashley Anderson, Legacy of Hope Community liaison and race director. “We have had so much interest from runners, walkers, and those who are interested in helping educate communities about the great need for organ, eye and tissue donation.”
Donor Dash for Life 5K will be an annual event in May to help close out April as National Donate Life Month. Registration is $25, and everyone is invited to register for the race here. Participants will receive a T-shirt and swag bag at registration the day of the race.
